چکیده
Mist-assisted film cooling has exhibited great potential for efficient of a turbine blade. Trench structures can significantly affect the performance air, while their impact on adhesion characteristics droplets and thus mist-assisted is unclear. This work highlights combination these two aspects by exploring improvement trenched holes with shaped lips using three-dimensional computations. The results show that upper lip structure plays significant role in adiabatic effectiveness, whereas lower little effect it. It found effectiveness increases increasing blowing ratio; Coanda makes more attached to wall fillet bevel structure. Meanwhile, concentration mist diameter are crucial improving effectiveness. In general, better values observed both 10 ?m at specified larger droplet size. proposes novel means enhancing mist/air mixture lips.

An Experimental Study of Momentum-Preserving Shaped Holes for Film Cooling Using PSP and PIV
An experimental investigation was conducted to study the performance of film cooling injection from a cylindrical hole and a “W-shaped” hole. A Pressure Sensitive Paint (PSP) technique was used to map the spatial distribution of film cooling effectiveness on the surface of the test plate based on a mass-transfer analogy. The effects of mass flux ratio and density ratio on film cooling effective...

متن کاملShape optimization of impingement and film cooling holes on a flat plate using a feedforward ANN and GA
Numerical simulations of a three-dimensional model of impingement and film cooling on a flat plate are presented and validated with the available experimental data. Four different turbulence models were utilized for simulation, in which SST had the highest precision, resulting in less than 4% maximum error in temperature estimation. A simplified geometry with periodic boundary conditions is de...
